Youth Advisory Council (YAC)
The Youth Advisory Council (YAC) is a subcommittee of the Communities for Positive Youth Development (CPYD) coalition.
The YAC membership is made up of youth (under 20 years old) that live or attend school in the community and are interested in taking a leadership role in creating positive youth development in their community. The YAC meets monthly June-April and is planned and led by youth with the support of the coalition’s staff.
We currently host 3 different Youth Advisory Councils across our service areas. Find more information about the YAC in your neighborhood, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll get back to you.
