Welcome the coalition's new fiscal agent!

Thank you, Kenneth Young Center, for your years of service!

Communities for Positive Youth Development is a community coalition
located in the northwest suburbs of Chicago.

The coalition is made up of individuals and organizations who are key stakeholders in supporting the full continuum of care (prevention, early intervention, treatment, and recovery) and their related support services in Schaumburg, Hoffman Estates, Elk Grove Village, Hanover Park, and Palatine.

We engage youth, families, schools, organizations, and communities to promote healthy behaviors, reach marginalized youth, and improve the quality of life for all.

We strive to enhance the health of underserved communities and believe that all individuals can benefit from education, tools, resources, and more.

We believe that people can and do recover from opioid and other substance use issues. Services are rooted in a harm reduction approach and seek to meet people where they are.
